Delete Your Account
You can permanently delete your Serckl account and personal data at any time — from inside the app, or from this page without reopening it.
1. How to Delete Your Account
Option A — In the app
Open Serckl and go to Profile → Settings → Delete Account. Confirm the prompt. This is the fastest way and starts the deletion immediately.
Option B — Without opening the app
Lost your phone, uninstalled the app, or can't sign in? You can request deletion by email instead — no app required.
Send the request from your registered email if you have one, and include your registered phone number so we can verify it's really you. We may ask one follow-up question to confirm your identity before deleting anything. We complete verified deletion requests within 30 days.
2. What Gets Deleted
Deleting your account removes:
- Your profile — full name, date of birth, gender, profile photo, phone number
- Your in-app activity — saved deals, claim history, favourites, preferences
- Push notification tokens tied to your device
- Any content you posted that identifies you
Deleting your account does not automatically cancel a deal you've already claimed. Redeem or cancel it with the business first — deletion only removes your Serckl profile and data.
3. What We Retain, and Why
A small amount of data survives account deletion, either because the law requires it or because it can no longer be traced back to you:

4. What Happens After You Ask
- Immediately — your account is deactivated and hidden from other users.
- For up to 30 days — your data is kept in a recoverable state in case you change your mind. Email privacy@serckl.com within this window to cancel the deletion.
- Within 30 days — your personal data is permanently deleted, other than the retained records listed above.
